Covergirl & Olay sculpting blush in 210 rich cinnamon

I've been lemming for this very product for such a long time and i was just too happy when i discovered that Chedelyn from facebook is selling this. I also had the 220 Royal Plum but i gave it to my friend because i find it very similar to rich cinnamon except the royal plum has like a rosy undertones while the rich cinnamon has peachy undertones. i wanted this blush coz i've seen a lot of great reviews about this. But i just realized something.. what works for them might not for me especially since i live in a very humid country and my skin gets oily usually so i think what i should be considering are the reviews of those who also lives in a humid country.

this is okay as a base of my powder blush on or if you have a porcelain flawless skin that you don't have to put powder over or under it. I tried putting it without powder on and in my case it doesn't stay on for long since i'm oily it only stays on my cheeks for an hour. i just use my fingers in applying this cream blush. Then i tried patting it on top of my bb cream and i find it hard to blend and when i try blending it, my bb cream gets rubbed off so this is actually a pain in the ass so what i do not is pat it using my fingers on my cheeks without any powder or bb cream on my face then i apply my bb cream then id apply my powder brush over it. its not a great help i just don't want to waste it. and its not pigmented so you may have to put a lot to build decent amount of color. i don't know maybe it's just me let me know if you have any suggestions. =)

Colour Collection lipstick in Tea Rose

this is gven to me by my mom  from Colour Collection. Its called Colour Intense Lipstick in Tea Rose. I was kind of happy when i saw the name coz i thought this is going to be a dupe for NYX's round lipstick in Tea Rose which i dont have yet but based on pictures i think they're pretty different.

so its another pink lipstick.. nothing special. it feels heavy on my lips. it kinda dries out my lips after a couple of hours or so. pigmented. washes me out a little bit. overall, i like it i can live with it but not too crazy bout it.

Beauty Credit lipsticks in Paris Pink and Pure Pink

I bought this at Subic. Beauty Credit is a korean brand of make up. they sell skincare as well and they also have varieties of BB creams. Anyway, Beauty Credit's lipsticks are soo soft, too soft that they actually melt and broke so easily. However, i like how it glides on smoothly on my lips and they are so pigmented. They leave stain on your lips. On my part i like that it does stain my lips. My lips are pigmented on the edges and pale on the inner part so i like my lips to still have a hint of color even after eating or so.

Yes yes i know i should have exfoliated my lips first before swatching these but i prefer to let it be just so i know which one suits my dry lips best. wet n wild 511B did an awesome job!

Beauty Credit in Paris Pink

see how it's crazy pigmented? this is like the wet n wild 511b which has a hot pink but this has more of a blue than purple undertones into it.. this lipstick has tiny sparkles that lingers on your lips even after wiping it away. Staying power is not that great but it does leave stain so its okay. This lipstick is not too bad as well for my dry lips but its not as moisturizing than the wet n wild one.

This is exactly the shade that i'm looking for but the thing is.. this lipstick failed terribly. i like the fact that it doesn't have sparkles like the paris pink but it's texture is soo soft.. runny almost that it goes pretty much everywhere near your lips. It feathers, it settles into fine lines of my lips, it accentuates my dry lips and made it even more drier at the end of the day. i hope i can find a dupe for this that has better texture and quality.

Penshoppe Pop beauty Lipglosses

I am not into lipglosses however, i can't resist these pretty shades. This is not that bad after all as i can control the amount i apply on my lips. I'd like just to pat my fingers once on the shade that i'd like to use and it goes on on my entire lips. yes it's unhygienic but i use this with my clean fingers and this is for personal use anyways. i use these when i feel like having sparkles on my lips.. i mix these also with my nude lipstick that didn't work for me.

Wet n Wild 511B lipstick

I love bold lip colors so i'm in search for hot pink inexpensive but quality hot pink lipstick. A lot of famous make up artist raved for wet n wild lipsticks because of its texture and pigmentation. This 511B is pretty much one of the most raved wet n wild lipstick. i searched online if i could get my hands on it. And lucky me i found it and bought it to Chedelyn Mae in Facebook for only 110pesos. Cheap ryt?

yes it is pretty pigmented and the texture is sooo nice. It moisturizes my lips and it does not settle into fine lines. my lips are always dry and this lipstick does not accentuate the dryness of my lips. I love this. It is a hot pink with purple undertones into it. No shimmers or glitters whatsoever. It has shiny but not glossy finish which i am not a fan of. i have uneven lips and my lower lip has this odd shape like the tip of it is leaning downwards that's why i don't wear lipglosses coz i feel like they'll droop haha! i prefer semi matte finish for my lips. I love this however this is not the perfect shade that i was looking for.

The Face Shop slanted eyeliner/brow brush

Sorry i forgot to take full picture of this brush for some reason. Anyway, this is once again a failure for me. I wish i could find a thinner brush for eyeliner..this is once again a bit thicker for my eyes so..

This brush is angled and tiny.. i think this is a great brush. Just not for me though. =(

Marionnaud tweezer

the best tweezer i've had so far. It does the job perfectly. it gets the tiniest hair you could ever imagine. i love it! It is slanted, tight but not sharp that could actually hurt you or even cut the hairs instead of pulling it from the roots.

So i have three of marionnaud's brushes. Their brushes doesn't shed in my experience and they are all pretty cheap so these are a good deal. so here they are..

N32 blush brush

If you have a heavy hand when it comes to make-up applications like i do then this is the perfect blush/contour brush for you. You can't go wrong with this brush because it picks just the right amount for a subtle hint of color on your cheeks. You can build the colors up ofcourse which is better than putting on too much and wonder how to erase them. It is soo soft. I really like the feel of it as it lingers to your face. I like using this as a blush brush and i Love using this as a contour brush since it is angled it does the job pretty well.

N33 foundation brush

Okay i normally wouldn't use a foundation. That's just not my thing although i've been thinking a lot about trying it out lately coz my freckles are soooo annoying they're like building a map on my face argh! I bought this because i was having  hard time in finding a make-up artist for my wedding last year that i actually thought of doing it myself haha! Anyway, i tried it out with my Revlon Colorstay foundation and it actually left streaky foundation marks on my face. I don't like this brush. And as you can see the brush looks sticky and oily. I've washed it like a gazillion times but it is still like that. i dont know if its the colorstay or the brush is just a huge boo!

N37 pencil brush

when i saw this i knew that i gotta have it. i have chinita eyes and the blending brush that i have is just too large for my crease. This is just what i was looking for and i know some didn't like this but i actually love it! It is so soft it never poked my eyes. this is just perfect to blend my outer V and my crease.

these are my first ever brushes and i love most of them but i'm not really satisfied with some of them particularly the powder/blush brush which is not so soft so i find it harsh on my skin, flat liner brush which is not so thin for my chinita eyes and the pointed eyeliner brush which is not so easy to work with. I lost the angled blush brush which i actually love coz its perfect for contouring and for applying blushes. I don't know where i put it. I must have left it somewhere. Such a shame. I love them overall..

ELF eyeshadow brush

This is my favorite eyeshadow brush. I'd like to pat the colors on my lids with this and use my charms brush for blending. My eyelids are actually small and this brush is just the right size for my lids. it is soft and i've washed it several times and no fall offs so far.

FANGLING blush/powder brush

I bought this one at Subic duty free for $2.50. Oh this brush is so soft! I love it! and it is so inexpensive. It picks up the powder pretty well and it is handy. Just the perfect size for travel. I've tried to search this brand online but i haven't found one. Fangling also have the foundation brush which i didn't buy because i seldom use foundation. This is now my favorite blush brush! Anyway this is how it looks like.

Description and Reviews:

1.) Salvatore Ferragamo Charms opens on notes of passion fruit and honeysuckle, leading to a heart of jasmine and ottoman rose. The base is a blend of white musk and amyris wood.
 -I love using this perfume at night when i'm out for an occasion. It has a seductive but sweet scent into it however it doesn't stay long.

2.) Inferno Paradiso Pink by Benetton is filled with oriental-floral fragrance with discrete fruity accords. It opens with aromas of juicy peach and citruses, orange and bergamot from Florida. The heart awaits us with freesia, jasmine and rose, whereas the base notes encompass patchouli, vetiver and white musk which rounds up the composition.
-to me it smells like the infamous D&G light blue which i'm not a fan of. i got this from singapore and since its a lot cheaper than D&G i thought that i might as well give it a try. I'm still not so crazy about it but i get a lot of compliments whenever i'm wearing it so..  Staying power is average.


3.)Bulgari Omnia Crystalline is a fresh musky woody fragrance with notes of bamboo, nashi pear, lotus flower, and balsa wood.
-the description says it all. yes it does smell like a fresh musky wood. It smells a bit powdery to me. Whenever i wear it i feel like i smell like a baby. It's light and fresh without any hint of fruity or floral scent into it. I like it because it has unique personality. I wear this on daytime. I can still smell myself wearing this after several hours however i don't get compliments whenever I'm wearing it. i think you have to be really close to be able to smell it. perfect for cuddling. Like i said, it's light and fresh. Your hubby's allergic rhinitis wont be triggered by this =)

3.)Lanvin Eclat is a sophisticated fruity scent is a blend of sicilian lemon leaves, lilac green, wisteria flowers, green tea flowers, peach flowers, red peony,white cedar of lebanon, musk, and amber.
-this is my latest perfume and i loveee this! i can't even describe its scent. It has fresh, sweet, fruity, citrus, sexy scent in it and it stays sooo long. I can still smell this on my clothes even after a week (i was preparing the laundry and i can still smell exactly how it was when i used it a week ago). I will definitely repurchase! Perfect for a night out or a dinner date with your special someone. This is a flirty perfume indeed!

4.)Agua de Loewe Ella incorporates lemon, bergamot, small orange, rose, lily, cedar, sandalwood and musk. The fragrance is light, spicy and feminine.
-i got this for free at Sephora Singapore when i bought an Agua de Loewe for men for my husband. this perfume is the most expensive out of the bunch that i own. I love how it smells so light and fresh but i think it is not worth its price. I won't repurchase just because i think  there's nothing so special about it. Staying power is great though.

5.)Tommy Girl has notes of black currant bud, apple, tangerine, mandarin, spearmint, heather, honeysuckle, violet, rose, magnolia, jasmine, lily, sandalwood and cedarwood.
-This is my second bottle and i love using this during day time when i'm going to attend an occasion or event. I think its smell is similar as the Clinique Happy Heart but this is more on a citrus side while the Clinique is more on a floral side. I still love this. i get a lot of compliments as well when im wearing this. It's sophisticated. Classic but modern. Staying power is average.

6.)Esprit Connect features watermelon, pineapple, freesia, fresh water, jasmine, peony, water lily, raspberry wood, sandalwood and musk.
-this is a floral fruity perfume combination. I love the smell. It is fresh. I love wearing them on daytime like going to the mall or run some errands, etc. Just a casual day out because this does not stay long. Like the scent is gone in an hour. I don't like carrying the perfume with me because my bag is always heavy as it is. So i tend to use this whenever i just don't want to smell like i didn't take a shower. This is my everyday perfume i'd say.

7.)Clinique Happy Heart is composed of Water Hyacinth, Mandarin, Cucumber, Yellow Primrose and Blondwoods.
-this is my second favorite perfume next to my absolute love Lanvin Eclat. I smelled this perfume on my friend and i remember how i got interested in it because i could smell her from afar. That's why i was so delighted when my father-in-law brought me this. Just my luck! It's fresh, strong and elegant but not overpowering. It has a mature personality. It stays on forever. It lingers in the air when you pass by people. Yes it does! One of my employee told me that he could also smell me from afar. Perfect for anytime of the day. will definitely repurchase!

REVLON colorstay liquid eyepen

I am a chinita and i've been watching few tutorials on how to make my eyes look bigger. For the most part, eyeliner usually does the trick for them and so i needed to go and get an eyeliner that has tiny tip and i preferred the pen one just because i'm new to eyeliner i thought it would be easier if its a pen that those with the brush or some kind of gel eyeliner.

So i heard a lot of great reviews about the Revlon Colorstay eye pencil which made me think that their liquid eye pen will work just as great, if not better.

Sadly, i am very disappointed with this product. the pigmentation is so poor, it does smudge, it does flake. I had to erase the whole thing if something goes wrong because it would look messy if i would layer them. It is a waste of product considering that it was pretty expensive compared to other drugstore liquid eyeliner. I think i bought it at watsons around Php 600.00 i don't remember the exact amount. I gave it away and i forgot to make a swatch. I'm just not impressed at all! Grr...

GODIVA Licowhite lipgloss review

This is an interesting lipgloss for me.. I bought around 5 of these since high school but i am still disappointed with the results. this lipgloss is supposed to lighten pigmented lips so as to make it kissable. Yeah it does lighten up the lips..but it didn't make my lips kissable... it made me look like i drank a gallon of vinegar or i just consumed a sack of pumpkin seeds. Yes i do have pigmented lips which is fine for me.. my only problem is the edges of my lips.. they are somehow darker. it kind of looks like i'm wearing a darker lip liner which is not nice at all. And every time i use this.. it just made my lips look even more horrible. Its like wearing a dark lip liner with a nude lip color. eeww! i don't know.. maybe this is not just me. now i totally give up!

GUESS watches

This is my first Guess watch..given to me by my beloved husband when he was courting me way back year 2007. I don't use this as much as my second watch though because i think it's quite difficult to use as a watch which is supposed to be its primary purpose because i still have to open the locket which is rather tight so... anyway this is my first watch=)

 

This is sooo cute! i mainly use this as an accessory... It is kind of like Tiffany bracelets with pink swarovsky crystals linked to its chain. Yes! It is pink! Cute right? Okay this is what it looks like when it's open..

 Okay lets move on to my second watch which i super love! I'm super in love with it that i never wanted a new watch again... i've been using this for about Three years now... It already went off and ran out of battery..but i'm just gonna replace its battery and will use it again and again and again!!! Okay so here it is..

there it is! I use this pretty much every single day. What i love about this watch is it looks like a classic men's watch. The only thing that makes it feminine is the crystals encrusted around its edge. I was never a watch person... but this came into my life and boy i was wrong! i feel naked now without it. My skin is pretty acidic... my skin turns into green after a couple of hours wearing silver.. but this.. it never stained my skin nor itself. I just clean it with clean cloth and will look almost brand new in an instant! love!

EYEBROW KIT

i am addict when it comes to eyebrow make-ups because my brows are just too hard to handle. so I've been trying these but i guess my brows are just too sparse that the powder just wouldn't work for me. can anyone tell me how? the powder looks so unnatural on my bare skin(sparse area) and it wears off in no time. so sad huh?

PAPER SOAP

this was given to me by my friend and it's very useful. it is cute and smells really good.  it comes in handy when you need to wash your hands. all you need to do is take a petal and you can now wash you hands.

SUNBLOCK! coz i'm afraid of the sun LOL

Sunblock is a must for me because of 3 reasons. 1st, i have freckles and they're getting more and more each day.. i hate it so much! 2nd, i just don't like to see myself in the mirror whenever my is dark.  3rd, for health purposes and prevention of premature aging.so here's my sunblocks..

Heliocare is my HG facial sunblock.. its a little expensive but it does the work for me. it comes with a beige colored gel and i can wear it under my make up. i wear this whenever i stay under the sun for too long. i never had break outs with this product. it's not heavy even if its spf90. this is made especially for those who have acne-prone and oily skin. love this!

Nivea Sun Immediate Sun Protection is great for summer outing! i use this on my face whenever i go to the beach because it has spf50 and it is water resistant. and i love the idea that there's no need to wait for 20minutes with this product. just apply this all over your face and you're good to go!

Neutrogena ultra sheer spf50 is what i use most of the time whenever I'm going outdoors because it can be used as a make up base as well. Basically this is my everyday sunblock.

Nivea Refreshing milk spf 30 is what i use on my face when I'm staying home because it has the minimum spf out of all my sunblocks.

And finally, my nivea sun immediate sun protection spf30 for my body. i don't know it its just me.. but I'm liking the feel of it. i like its stickiness somehow. i feel like its providing me a dewy finish on my skin. i don't know.. whatever! hehe..
